DMT has taken the mystery out of sharpening with this simple, effective angle aid. Designed with a magnet for use with DMT's popular Diafold sharpeners, it grips the diamond surface and provides the proper starting angle at which to place the knive's edge to produce the right sharpening bevel. Simply lean the knife blade against the Angle Mate and stroke over the Diafold surface four to five times. Then, slide the angle Mate to the opposite end of the Diafold and repeat the process using the other side of the knife. In no time, even a novice will sharpen like a pro. With practice, you will find you automatically start to angle the blade correctly. This new skill may be applied to other DMT diamond and ceramic stones.
