A Mist Calcium Inhibitor Filter is recommended for use on any mist system and should be changed annually. This filter protects the misting system in two ways: It stops solid sediments – as small as 5 microns – from passing through the system and clogging the nozzle orifice, and coats smaller particulates with polyphosphates, which enables them to pass easily through the nozzle orifice without forming blockages. A mist filter prolongs the life of the mist nozzle and inhibits nozzle clogging.
